It was the summer just before 8th grade and I decided I wanted to learn to play guitar. The first 2 years I played I took lessons which didn't to shit for me. Then I saw the Legends special on VH1 about Stevie Ray Vaughan and it totally inspired me. I stopped taking lessons and began teaching myself to play.

    Over the last 6 years i've played with numerous musicians, none of which I ever really clicked with. I'm not even going to bother listing them all, there is way too many. Soon enough I started jamming with drummer and long time friend Dan Rogers. The material would slowly turn into what is now known as From Beyond. Most of my influence stem from prgressive and power metal. I listen to just about everything though, spanning from all different styles of metal, including Black, Death, and Thrash Metal; Hip Hop, NOT RAP; Classical; obviously Blues cause Stevie ray Vaughan is one of my idols next to John Petrucci of Dream Theater. I have also recently been listening to a lot more hard core style bands, so expect to see some of that style incorporated in some of our songs. Most of my influences are coming from these bands:
