:: BAND :: NICK :: BRIAN :: STEVE ::

    In mid August of 2002, Dan Rogers and I began working on material that would soon become From Beyond. I wrote the guitar parts and Dan came up with the drums. A few months past and we finally came across a singer and a bass player. They joined the banned in February of 2003. Nick Carcioppolo was our singer and Eric Kenyan was our bass player. A few months past while working on material and soon enough we were in the studio recording our first demo. The demo was titled "...the missing link" on account of Dan always being absent. About a month later we got our first gig, it was on July 13, 2004. From there we went on to play about 6 more shows through October 17, 2003.

    Then the band took a short break and in Febrary, Nick and I decided to start looking for a new drummer and bass player. We tried one other person who didn't work out and then went back to Dan for a little while. We did find a new bass player by the name of Steve Hessel. We then went on to play a Battle of the Bands at Broadway Joe's on April 24, 2004. Following the show we went to the studio to record a new demo on May 28, 2004. About a month later the demo was released under the title "No Swimming."

    After the release of the new demo we decided to actively look for a new drummer. We found this young kid who was pretty amazing at drums named Max Bernstein. We were playing on the basis that he was only going to be temporary. Two months later we played a show at Voelkers Bowling Alley on September 5, 2004. After that once again the drummer wasn't quite working out so we quickly found a replacement by the name of Evan to get us ready for a show on September 25, 2004.
